Cutting-edge cellular imaging techniques now allow us to see cells, tissues, and living animals with incredible detail and in real-time. This opens up new pathways for discovery across basic and translational research, helping us better understand human diseases. Our mission is to make state-of-the-art imaging technologies available to researchers at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and at other Temple’s scientific community. We continuously expand and upgrade our equipment portfolio to meet evolving research needs and foster interdisciplinary and innovative research. Our Core, which launched in 2025, is located on the 6th floor of the MERB and houses various state-of-the-art microscopes and imaging analysis workstations.
